Match the offence category to your daily arrangements
For a home in Eindhoven and a workplace elsewhere in the region, keep both addresses in view. The comparison covers Eindhoven, not neighbouring Veldhoven. If you drive, “theft from motor vehicles” includes items taken from inside a vehicle or from its exterior, rather than theft of the vehicle itself. If you cycle, the bicycle-and-moped category combines both vehicle types. Neither count describes the parking arrangements at a particular home or workplace; check those directly.
Coverage, years and rates
The comparison includes every Eindhoven wijk in Politie table 47018NED, using its 2025 boundaries. A wijk is a statistical district, not a separate entry for every smaller buurt or street. The source was updated on 15 April 2026. Counts include attempts and may be revised. The trend shows raw annual counts for 2023–2025, rather than rates calculated with a single year’s population.
Only the 2025 count is divided by the population at 1 January 2025 and multiplied by 1,000. This is Hey Haven’s calculation, using CBS / PDOK Wijk- en Buurtkaart 2025; wijk populations are randomly rounded to multiples of five. Counts remain visible when the rate is unavailable because population is missing or below 50; that population threshold is our display rule. Missing offence data is not zero.
