Your estimated take-home income
Full-year equivalent · not your moving-year total
- Annual take-home income
- Monthly average
Annual take-home income divided by 12. Holiday pay and bonuses are included, so individual payslips can differ.
Tax and insurance as a share of gross pay
You selected a full national-insurance exemption. The estimate uses the reduced tax-only credits rather than the full credits of an insured employee.

- Gross holiday allowance
- Additional annual bonus
- Salary before deductions
- Your pension contribution

If holiday allowance is paid separately
- Monthly budget without holiday allowance
- Net amount allocated to holiday allowance
Budget allocation only: the difference between annual estimates with and without holiday allowance. Payroll may withhold a different amount on special payments; this is not an exact May deposit. Bonuses remain spread in the annual average.
What this estimate covers
This estimates annual take-home pay from employment using the circumstances you choose. It includes income tax, applicable national insurance and the relevant tax credits. Personal health-insurance premiums, rent and living costs still come out of the amount shown.
This is not a tax return or payroll withholding calculation. Other income/deductions, treaty cases, part-year tax/insurance changes and unverified profiles need additional information. A full-year projection does not calculate your first-year settlement.
2024–2026 rules
How is the result calculated?
Annualize your offer
We convert the entered pay to a full year, count holiday allowance once and add the separate annual bonus. This cash total already includes any tax-free ruling allowance.
Apply your circumstances
We subtract your deductible employee pension contribution before calculating any ruling allowance, using the selected year’s salary threshold and cap. We keep the pension contribution the same with and without the ruling; your employer’s arrangement may differ.
Calculate tax and credits
The selected year, age and confirmed insurance status determine income tax, national insurance and the relevant credits. Credits can reduce tax to zero; unused amounts are not added to your income.
Show your budget
Gross annual salary minus your deductible employee pension contribution and estimated tax gives take-home income. Period figures are averages for planning, not payroll withholding tables.
